Follow these steps to understand and set up user access to specific functions within the Manager Portal.
IMPORTANT
- Permissions are assigned to job roles. Individual employees cannot have permissions assigned or removed. However, custom job roles can be created and assigned to individual users.
 - Within the Manager Portal, only an individual whose job role has the “Modify Permissions” permission can update the permissions of other job roles.

 - To update user permissions to functions that take place on POS terminals, please refer to Configure Employee POS Permissions.
 
- Log in to the Manager Portal.
 - Select the hamburger menu (three lines) on the upper-left.
 - Select "Labor".
 - On the Labor submenu, select "Portal Permissions".
 - Select or unselect the checkboxes under each job role to assign or remove permissions to that job role.

Manager Portal Login: Allows creation of new login credentials for access to the Manager Portal

Manage Venue Settings: Allows the ability to make and save changes to venue settings

Manage House Accounts: Allows creation, deletion, and adjustments to House Accounts and House Account Balances

Manage Shift Notes: Allows view, creation, deletion, and edit of the Shift Notes that display on Union POS terminals

Edit Items and Screens: Allows creation and edit of menu items, modifiers, modifier groups and Menu Screens.

Edit Sales Categories: Allows creation and edit of the Sales Categories and Sales Sub-Categories that are used for reporting

> Note: Editable values include an employee's Address, PIN Code, Job Code, Wage Rate, POS and Portal Permissions - 
Modify Job Codes: Allows creation and edit of Job Codes
> Note: Editing includes the ability to change Pay Rate and Pay Type for the Job Codes - 
Modify Permissions: Allows change of any user's POS and Portal permissions
> Note: This is an "all or nothing" permission.
