Follow these steps to set a preferred view and filters as the default for an employee using the Union POS.

- Have the employee log in to the Union POS app with their PIN code.
- Toggle the home screen to your venue's preferred view: All Tabs, All Tables, All To-go, or All Checks.
> Note: Definitions of these types of display can be found in the Reference section (below). - Set any preferred filters for the employee's display screen.

RESULT
The Union POS will remember the last selected home screen and filters when the user logs in next.Reference

Home Screen Types
- Tabs
- Displays all open Tabs in the POS system
- There are filters for Status, Sort, and Employee.
- Tables
- Displays all the Tables on a Floor
- There are filters for Mode, Employee, and Area.
- A Table must be assigned to an employee to show on their checkout.
- To-Go
- Displays all To-Go orders in the POS system
- A To-Go check is the same as a Tab but with additional prompts: Customer Name, Pick Up Date & Time, Customer Phone, and Customer Address.
- There are filters for Status, Sort, Type, Employee.
- All Checks
- Displays all open checks in the POS system
- There are filters for Status, Sort, View, and Employee.

Display Filter Types
- Status: Displays a subset of checks based on open or closed state
- Open
- Closed
- All
- Sort: Changes the order of checks displayed
- Name (arranged alphabetically by Check Name)
- Time (arranged by time the check was last viewed)
- Employee: Displays all checks under a selected Employee Name
- Type: Displays a subset of checks based on tab types; displays To-Go orders taken by Phone, Website, or Third Party
- Status: Displays a subset of checks based on open or closed state

- View: This option under All Checks filter will display all of the selected Tables, Tabs, or To-Go
- Mode: This option under the Table filter determines the actions that can happen on a Table
- Assign: This toggle is required to assign or un-assign a table to an employee
- Manage: This toggle is to view and add items to checks for the Tables
- Area: This display the tables on the selected floor plan
> Note: The POS will only display one floor plan at a time.
